WHAT DOES COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU?

Community means to me “solidarity, safety, and support”. This is something that I came to realize that was severely lacking in my everyday life. Community should never be forced, it should always show up genuinely and willingly. Having to navigate the 4 corners of this cold-hearted world alone is a task in itself and it leaves you vulnerable and afraid at times. Having the support of community mitigates you facing those tough times alone and operating from a mindset of fight or flight! Community should feel FREE! Freedom to express, to create, to be seen, to be heard, to be supported, to be uplifted, and most importantly, to be LOVED!!! Having the right people in your corner helps you to know at all times, you’re protected! You’re SAFE! Someone sees you for you! “THE BLXCK WIDOWS” was created with FAMILY in mind!
